So the difference in performance cannot be explained by the capacity of the battery but in the maximum delivery of energy. Most batteries cannot deliver the energy that is needed. The AL-KO 4WD Mammut AMS2 TS422 is for Twin axle caravans (4 WD). The electronics are equipped with a soft start and stop function. This makes manoeuvring the caravan gently and has less effect on the chassis. Manoeuvring is done with a remote control. (2.4 GHz) with joystick.

Technic

The mover has comfort control. This makes it possible to adjust the caravan a little left or right while manoeuvring forwards and backwards. You can also adjust the driving speed dynamically.The mover goes to the tires fully automatically, with the pressure on the tires being controlled by the electronics.
The pressure builds up to 4500 Nm. The mover slides forward 4,00 cm. The rollers are adjusted about 2 cm from the tire, so the pressure of the roller in the tire is maximum 2,00 cm. The actuator motor automatically stops as soon as the pressure is sufficient or as soon as the mover has been pushed fully forward. In case of a completely discharged or defective battery, the mover can easily be removed from the tire . Before use, you have to release the safety switch. The mover has a worm wheel transmission that prevents the caravan from rolling back on a slope. The wear-resistant maintenance-friendly aluminium drive rollers have a diameter of 7 cm, which ensures optimum grip on the tires.

The manufacturer recommends this mover for caravans up to 3000 kg. It is important to us that taking a short slope of 20% should not be a problem, so we recommend this mover with our set O55 up to a maximum weight of 3000 kg. The actual weight of the mover itself (measured by us) without battery is approximately 84,00 kg.

The height for the installation is 16,00 cm. The loss of ground clearance after installation with an appropriate chassis is 7,00 cm. The mover needs an installation length of 48,00 cm. The metal parts are galvanized. The mover is optimally protected against moisture, so that the risk of malfunctions is also minimal when mounted behind the wheels.
